Clock & Watch Repair Services
From antique restoration to battery replacement and house calls, we provide trusted service for clocks, watches, and larger timepieces to restore to perfect working condition.
Since 1978
We provide professional repair and maintenance for mechanical clocks of many types, including:
• Mantel clocks
• Wall clocks
• Cuckoo clocks
• Shelf clocks
• Grandfather clocks
• Vintage and antique
mechanical clocks
We service both spring-driven and weight-driven movements, including cable-driven and chain-driven systems.
Case and cabinet service
Clock repair is not only about the movement.
We also care for the clock case and structure:
• Case cleaning
• Wood conditioning
• Minor cabinet repairs
• Stabilizing loose components
• Glass and door adjustments
• Hardware inspection
We work with common clock woods such as:
• Oak
• Walnut
• Mahogany
• Cherry
Our goal is to preserve the original character of the clock while improving its structural condition.
Mechanical Clock Repair
What we repair
Most mechanical clocks stop working not because they are "broken", but because they have not been properly serviced for many years.
Common problems we see include:
• Worn pivot holes requiring bushing work
• Old hardened oil causing friction
• Metal wear from dry operation
• Bent or worn pivots
• Gear wear
• Escapement wear
• Suspension spring damage
• Worn mainsprings
• Out-of-adjustment strike mechanisms
Mechanical clocks require periodic cleaning and lubrication. Without service, old oil turns into abrasive residue that causes metal to wear against metal. Over time this creates excessive wear and causes the clock to stop or run inaccurately.
Movement replacement
In some cases, original movements may be too worn or damaged for economical repair.
If this happens:
We discuss options with you before proceeding.
Options may include:
• Movement restoration
• Movement replacement
• Custom solution based on clock type
We always prioritize restoration when appropriate, especially for antique clocks.
Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our mechanical clock repairs with a 2-year warranty. Our work follows traditional horological service standards to ensure lasting performance and reliability. To ensure long-term accuracy, we professionally recommend maintenance oiling approximately every two years as part of proper mechanical care.
Our repair process
Every clock we service goes through a complete evaluation process.
Typical overhaul includes:
• Full movement removal from the case
• Complete disassembly of the movement
• Ultrasonic cleaning of most components
• Inspection of pivots and gear teeth
• Bushing work where wear exists
• Pivot polishing
• Gear repair when necessary
• Replacement of worn components
• Proper clock oil lubrication
• Reassembly and adjustment
We use professional horological lubricants designed specifically for mechanical clocks to ensure long-term reliability.
Testing and regulation
After repair, every clock is tested before release.
Testing includes:
• Timekeeping accuracy checks
• Beat adjustment
• Strike synchronization
• Power reserve testing
• Multi-day operation testing
Only after passing testing do we release the clock to the customer.
Delivery & Installation
For larger or delicate clocks such as grandfather clocks, wall clocks, and valuable antique timepieces, we offer professional delivery and installation services.

watch Repair
Issaquah Greater Seattle
Mechanical & quartz
Service Process
Mechanical and automatic watch service involves complete movement disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning of all components, inspection of pivots, gears, and escapement, and replacement of worn parts when necessary. Vintage watches may require restoration of original components rather than replacement.
After cleaning, the movement is professionally reassembled, lubricated with specialized horological oils, and adjusted to restore proper mechanical performance.
Quartz Watches
We repair quartz watches including movement replacement, crystal replacement, crown and stem repair, gasket replacement, bracelet repair, and electrical diagnostics. When repair is not practical, complete quartz movement replacement is often the most reliable solution.
We also replace worn external components such as hands, crystals, crowns, and seals to restore proper function and appearance.
Modern, Luxury
Testing, Regulation
Bring your watch to our shop for a professional evaluation. Our technicians will inspect it, identify the issue, and contact you with recommended repair options. You can then decide whether to proceed with the repair or pick up your watch without service.
We service modern and luxury watches as well as vintage mechanical timepieces. Our workshop regularly works with brands such as Rolex, Omega, Longines, Raymond Weil, Tissot, Hamilton, Tag Heuer, Seiko, Citizen, Bulova, and other Swiss and Japanese manufacturers.
After assembly, watches undergo timing regulation and operational testing. This includes accuracy checks, power reserve observation, positional timing checks, and water resistance testing when applicable.
Final adjustments are performed to ensure reliable performance before the watch is returned to the customer.

Antique Restoration
Issaquah Greater Seattle
What we repair
We restore a wide range of antique mechanical pieces such as
• Clocks
• Watches
• Music Boxes
• Barometers
• Other spring-driven mechanical objects
Our work focuses on preserving original mechanisms whenever possible while restoring proper and reliable operation.
Restoration Process
Restoration begins with detailed inspection and mechanical disassembly. Components are cleaned, worn pivots and bushings are corrected, damaged mechanical parts are repaired or fabricated when necessary, and original mechanisms are preserved whenever possible.
Each mechanism is then reassembled, properly lubricated with correct oils, adjusted, and calibrated to restore stable and reliable operation.
Cases & Components
Evaluation Process
We restore wooden cases, metal housings, dials, hands, hinges, lids, decorative hardware, and structural elements of antique mechanical objects. Whenever possible, we preserve original components rather than replace them to maintain authenticity and historical character.
Work may include structural repair, hardware restoration, dial conservation, music box comb repair, and careful cosmetic improvements appropriate to the age of the piece.
Bring your antique mechanical item or vintage object to our shop for a professional evaluation. Our technicians will inspect the mechanism, identify the issue, and contact you with recommended restoration options and estimated costs. You can then decide whether to proceed with the restoration or pick up your item without service.

Electric to Quartz Conversion
Issaquah Greater Seattle
Why convert your electric clock
Our conversion process
Many vintage electric clocks hold deep sentimental value, but original motors fail and replacement parts are often no longer made. A quartz conversion lets you keep the clock you love — the original case, dial, and hands are preserved while a new reliable movement powers the timekeeping. We work with most vintage electric clocks, including pieces by Telechron, General Electric, Westclox, and Hamilton.
The original electric movement is carefully removed and replaced with a properly sized quartz movement matched to the existing dial, and a discreet battery compartment is added without affecting the front of the clock. The result looks identical to the original, now with reliable battery operation, accurate timekeeping, and quiet performance. Bring your clock to our shop for evaluation and we will provide an estimate before any work begins.

Battery Replacement
Issaquah Greater Seattle
Standard Battery
Specialty Batteries
We replace batteries in quartz watches of all brands and styles. Most watch batteries typically last between 1 to 3 years depending on the movement, features, and battery type.
Our battery service includes proper installation, basic function testing, and resealing of the case when applicable to help maintain reliability.
Some watches use specialty lithium batteries or rechargeable power cells such as Eco-Drive and other solar storage cells, designed to last approximately 5–10 years. These systems often require special ordering and careful installation due to their design and sealing requirements.
Because of the complexity of these power cells and the service involved, replacement typically costs more than standard battery service.
